Headquartered in the beautiful community of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, SLK Learning Center, Inc. is a proven leader among South Bay academic tutoring organizations and test prep centers.

 

SLK is equipped with a highly qualified and experienced staff of teachers amassing decades of experience in the fields of instruction and education.

                LA Quest 2 
 
Program Objectives 
The objective of the program is to encourage students to build their English language arts skills by focusing on an educational goal throughout the year and to award students for diligently studying and completing the program. An award ceremony is held at the end of each year (September or October) that includes BBQ & potluck party as well as fun games and activities.
 
Program Elements
The program contains four elements: vocabulary, writing, reading, and listening and responding.

Program Benefits
At first, students are motivated by the anticipation of completing the program to receive an award. However, students who are engaged in the process developed life-long study skills and internal motivation to learn.
