Why Supplemental Education for ELD (English Language Development) Students?
Although ELD students receive an average of 90 minute instruction per week in school, for most students, this is not sufficient instruction to build student's language competencies and get students caught up with their peers.
Skill-Building Group Lessons
Our Skill-Building Group Lessons are designed for ELD (English Language Development) students, who need to raise their level of competency in English, while building academic skills.
The goal of our classes is to raise the level of our students' competency in English so that they can funcation in the American Education system, while easing the transition for students entering in American schools.
Students will build their strengths in the following areas:
1. Reading & Vocabulary Skills
2. Writing Skills
3. Grammar Skills
4. Speaking & Listening Skills
Program Effectiveness
Our program has been effective in raising our level of student's competency in English; promoting second language acquisition of listening, speaking, reading, and writing; and preparing student for mainstream academic subjects required by all students.
