Language Arts Quest Program
The LA (Language Arts) Quest program was created in 2001, to motivate and inspire ELD (English Language Development) students as they continue their ongoing process to improve and strengthen their English language skills.
The LA Quest Program is a year-long, optional program that typically begins at the start of the academic school year; however, students who enroll at SLK after the beginning of the school year may start the program any time. Students who choose to take on this challenge can select one of the possible achievement levels: Certificate, Medallion, and Trophy.
Each level requires students to complete skill elements in each of the four areas of Language Arts:
- Reading
- Writing
- Listening
- Speaking
