Online SAT Prep Writing Classes
Intensive SAT Prep Classes
In partnership with Gulfside Academy, SLK now offers SAT Prep Classes online! By taking these classes online, you can prepare for the writing and vocabulary sections of the SAT on your time. You will receive training that will:
- give you practice with the "language" of standardized tests
-
familiarize you with the structure of the essay
- writing a strong "lead" and introduction
- developing topic sentences and body paragraphs with supporting details
- finishing with a noteworthy conclusion
Further, you will have access to past SAT writing prompts, as well as analysis of each one, and the class will also address what key components--for example, idioms, tone, vocabulary, and quotations, among others--are necessary for a stellar essay.
Intense SAT Prep (each week):
- One SAT practice writing prompt
- Writing strategies and practice
- SAT vocabulary and quizzes
- Timely feedback and analysis of your essay
6 weeks: $439
10 weeks: $689
Intense Plus SAT Prep (each week)--same as above, including:
- Two SAT practice writing prompts
- Two forty-minute live webinar mini lessons with the SAT instructor (up to 10 students)
6 weeks: $1249
10 weeks: $1999
