We have recently expanded to include a new tutoring facility in Torrance, California, to better serve our clients.
About the SAT
The SAT Reasoning Test is the standardized test used by colleges to help determine student admission. Almost every 4-year university lists the SAT as an admission requirement and some may require a minimum score for admission consideration.
There are three sections tested on the SAT:
Critical Reading:
- Tests vocabulary knowledge and familiarity
- Measures reasoning and logic skills

Passage-Based Reading Questions
- Includes both short and long passages
- Tests vocabulary in context, direct comprehension, and analyzing abilities
- Sentence Completion Questions
Writing:
- Multiple-Choice questions that focus on grammar and require students to identify sentence errors and improve sentences and paragraphs
- Short essay that measures organization, reasoning, and grammar
Math:
- Multiple-Choice Questions
- Student-produced response Questions, also known as Grid-Ins
- Skills tested include: arithmetic, applied arithmetic concepts such as averages and rates, elementary algebra and basic geometry.
