Adult ESL - Survival English
"Meeting the Immediate Needs of Adult Second-Language Learners"

Will I be able to survive in Los Angeles
with my limited English?
How can I expand my English knowledge so that I can enjoy
speaking and communicating with native
speakers on a daily basis?
If you have asked yourself these questions, the Survival English class is the place for you. This small, interactive class provides women, especially moms, a relaxing, encouraging environment to study basic, practical English needed to live in the United States. Women discuss and practice dealing with everyday situations, learn more about the American culture, and build relationships with other adult language learners.
Low Beginner
Students learn essential vocabulary and practical dialogue to cope with everyday situations, strengthen listening and pronunciation skills, and learn cultural information relevant to their lives.
High Beginner
Students build language skills by building practical vocabulary, reviewing essential grammar, and working on listening and pronunciation skills that enable them to dialogue more fluently and independently in everyday situations.
