English Conversation Cafe
Want to unwind, mingle, and practice English in a
relaxing environment?
Want to have a place to freely ask for advice and
any questions related to everyday life
in the United States?
Then, come have a cup of tea on us at our English Conversation Cafe!
The cafe comprises of multi-level group lessons that provide students with the structure of a second-language acquisition class, but with a casual environment conducive to easy-going conversationists. Students, along with the instructors, come prepared with their own topics of discussion.
Past Topics Include:
- Recommending good eating and sight-seeing spots
- Discussing a child's academic and personal progress
- Being assertive in American culture
- Talking about current events, such as The Academy Awards and Royal Wedding
- Highlighting American idioms and phrases relating to conversational topics
- Improving vocabulary through a discussion of real-world experiences, like shopping for clothes and ordering food
All of our instructors are native speakers.
