Headquartered in the beautiful community of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, SLK Learning Center, Inc. is a proven leader among South Bay academic tutoring organizations and test prep centers.
SLK is equipped with a highly qualified and experienced staff of teachers amassing decades of experience in the fields of instruction and education.
We have recently expanded to include a new tutoring facility in Torrance, California, to better serve our clients.
Adult ESL Classes
"Encouraging personal, academic, and professional growth"
The Adult ESL Classes focus on English skills for personal, academic and professional purposes. Classes will be offered in 3-month sessions, with 1.5 hour classes offered Monday through Friday of each week.
Classes will focus on:
- Oral communication (pronunciation, speaking)
- Listening skills
- Vocabulary
- Grammar and mechanical errors
- Idioms
- Reading
- Writing
SLK offers three levels for the Adult ESL Program
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Advanced
Each student will be tested to assess his or her level of ability, prior to the start of the program.
